The galvinized chair completed. We named her "Dee Dee Jane" after a fellow vendor that always inspires us with her positive sunny disposition. She found her new home in Iowa residing as queen of a foyer.
Fanciful bits and pieces of leftover hardware have come together for the soulful purpose of spinning your memories, posting memos or perhaps displaying vintage postcards. They could be a unique holiday centerpiece or hold pictures of the bride and groom at a wedding quest table. We will have them at Junk Bonanza!
The inspiration for this creation started with the propellor that a very talented jewelry artist (Devin Johnson;Makeshift Accessories) found for Lee. The propellor has been keeping Lee company on the workbench for months. After lots of special moments pondering each other this lamp is the artistic expression of the relationship between Lee and the propellor.
We featured this chair at Junk Bonanza in September. The process of reconstructing provided a format of bonding,so as the personality emerged we decided on a name. This one is Roy Rogers. He has a partner in progress and some cousins, each with a style all their own.
